| Thanks for the link. Have you cut out wheat at all? I'm starting to think about it. Just bought a loaf of bread and wraps though, so it'd have to be in a couple weeks.

| StuckSara, I had a couple of rolls at the Texas Roadhouse, but that was my only wheat in the past week. I love bread, but I thought I would give this a try for a while. I have even switched to regular oatmeal. I don't eat any processed or fast food, but I don't do well on pure Atkins.

| Yeah, I love bread too. Even talking about it makes me want some! I hate doing straight adkins also, I get really bad headaches and can't concentrate, plus I like my fruits and veggies too much. Will you keep me posted on this? I'll let you know if I end up trying it too, but I'm pretty interested.

Hmmmmmm, I would like to know where are the studies that have PROVED this to be true?
Because to me (at this point) it sounds just like his personal theory and opinion.

| r_beau, gosh, I don't know about the medical studies. It just struck a chord with me and it sounds basically like a modification of Atkins. I can't last on Atkins for more than 6 weeks because I get heart palpatations. I will let you know in about 12 weeks if it is worthwhile. Last edited on 1 Nov 2008 02:34 pm by Dazed1
