Ok, we all know that the skin is bad on chicken. But, does it matter if it is boneless or not?
I mean is the boneless chicken breast better for you than the kind with the bone? You regular plain old chicken.
I was curious if it make any difference or not.

It does not add any measurable fat or calories.
From a cooking, storage and flavor perspective you are actually better off cooking with bones. They add flavor and help prevent dryness when cooking. Also, with poultry, they help prevent that "game-y"ness that can occur after refridgeration.

That's kind of why I wonder. Cause chicken with the bone taste so much better, that I thought this is to good to be true. lol, It's got to be bad for you.
So, glad to know it's not cause I tend to eat allot of chicken.

Honestly, cooking with the skin on is actually ok, too. You just can't eat it. If you cook with he skin on you only add something like 3 - 5 cals per ounce to the food.
As you can probably tell, I eat a lot of chicken too.
