I'd love to hear more about these too! My daughters give them to my grandkids like they're health food. Or maybe I'm thinking of fruit leather.

I'm a bit confused. I Googled to find out how many calories are in the Fruit Roll Ups (Food Calculator here didn't have them) and this is what I found.

Fruit Roll Ups, Berry Flavored
Servings: 2
Calories: 104
Calories from Fat: 9
Total Fat: 1.0g
Cholesterol: 0mg
Sodium: 89mg
Total Carbohydrates: 23.9g
Sugars: 10.8g

Is this what you read?

The Stretch Island Fruit Co. list has fruit leather, but I don't know the difference.

BTW, 99% of food items and restaurants and such have been added to the lists by request! (Though it helps greatly if you can point me to a source on the web. I can't always find the products in my supermarkets. And don't forget about the Add Foods feature if you have your own data!)

I think the catch is mostly that the calories are pure sugar...I mean, nothing in a fruit roll-up is remotely healthy or ...real food-ish.

But I guess if you need a sugary snack, there are worse things.

...I prefer the similar product Fruit by the Foot:tongue:

Wow, I just got a major flash back to 2nd grade by reading this post.  I havent had a fruit by the foot or fruit roll up since 3rd grade.  I use to have to buy them off other kids  for like 25 cents because my parents didn't let me eat that "garbage"  "Its just pure sugar, you dont want that #%@&!" my dad would say.  I think he was right.
