We recently got a big container of some chocolate flavored Whey Protein Powder.
I was just wondering if drinking it would inhibit my weightloss?
I drink it when I wake up mixed with water (might use 2% milk next though), and then have something else along with it. Wait an hour then exercise.
Sooo.. yeah... I had more to say but totally forgot what heh.

don't forget to count the calories in the powder (and also in the milk, if you're adding milk).
on the one hand, drinking your calories in general tends not to be a good idea because it does not fill you up as much as eating them.
on the other hand, it might be a handy way to get the right amount of protein into your day, and for me (I'm not sure about anybody else) it does seem to give me a 'full' feeling. Sometimes this takes me by surprise...
There are other types of milk that are lower in fat that you can try, too, which you might not like on their own but which might go quite well with the powder!

| So pretty much, just so long as I count the calories in the stuff (which I've been doing).. and making sure I don't go over my amount, then it won't make me gain or anything right?

Basically yes.
Pitfalls are to eat too much by not counting properly, eating too little and depressing one's metabolism, a minority of people are carb-sensitive and have to eat more protein+fat and keep carbs down.
