| I wonder what fruits and vegetables tase's very good but have a good sorice of protein and iron

Someone else can answer the Iron question.
Protein: if you're looking at the proportion of calories that come from protein (or putting it another way, if you eat 100 calories of something, how many of those come from protein) then fruit are generally low down the list as most calories are from sugars, as are the starchy vegetables (starch). But there are plenty of high-protein vegetables stars, so hopefully some of them meet your taste criteria. Here are some ideas:
Broccoli
Zuchini
Baby corn-cobs (not regular corn or sweetcorn)
Cauliflower
Mushrooms
Spinach
Kale
all of the above are 40% protein, or more.
Generally most vegetables that are non-starchy (not potatoes, carrots etc.) are at least 20% protein.
Legumes are typically 25-30%.
Oranges and Strawberries are 12%.
