I recently started the 6 week ETL program and feel pretty good about the experience so far as well as it being a fairly sustainable lifestyle choice for me. The only thing is that I'm finding it a challenge to exclude alcohol (wine or a cocktail made of spirits and a no-cal mixer). Its not too hard to find bar snacks or party appetizers that are ETL compliant...its just the drinks part that I'd like to keep rather switch to club soda with a lime. Dr. F touches on it briefly in his book but doesn't generally have much to say on the subject there. Does anyone have thoughts or comments base on their similar experience?

I now drink rarely, though accepting that on those ocassions I won't be able to keep to the "10% rule" (well technically at 2000 calories that would give me 200 calories, enough for about 3.5 shorts of spirits but the reality is that I'd rather drink more on the days that I do and then not drink for long periods in between) On the other hand if you're a regular drinker but have fewer drinks perhaps you could simply use your 10%?
Oh, on 2nd thoughts I guess what I wrote might not apply to you as the 10% rule applies to the lifestyle phase, not the 6 week plan
