I just started the E2L plan yesterday.  Was checking in to see if anyone has started/wants to start near me as a buddy!  So far, so good (yes, impressive after one day) but thought further down the road could use the moral support!

It's my ideal diet but I don't follow it strictly. But I started being pretty strick again this past Tuesday.

The first time I went on it I lost 100 points of total cholesterol in 9 weeks!

You'll certainly be eating healthy foods. And you'll learn a lot!

Good for you!   I'm sure you'll find success and feel fantastic about it.

I've only been commited to eating  in this way about 2 months now, but I've lost about 19 pounds already.

I have not been following the E2L diet religiously.  What I tend to do is more of an Ornish(Eat More, Weigh Less)/Fuhrman(Eat to Live) combination....but the influence that the lifestyles promoted by these two has had on my food choices is incredible.   I  think my fat intake tends to fall between 10 and 20 percent.  It's gotten lower with time.

I've been yo-yo'ing in weight and with diets since I was about 12 years old, I've done the on again off again with diets for as long as I can remember~~what?  That would mean that I have been suffering on "diets for 2/3 of my life. How insane.

With ETL in mind, my choices are so easy when I go out to parties, when I'm at restaurants... I haven't had problems feeling good about the food selections I'm making.

My biggest motivator has been how easy the pounds seem to be leaving me......simply by making better choices.  And for the first time, I feel I have so many choices

I'm a full time working mom with 2 beautiful children.  I am making better food choices for the entire family and I feel great!

about the 90% rule, it feels as though sometimes I'm only managing 80% compliance. As far as high-quantity eating goes, I know was born to do ETL. I eat between 3 and 5 kilos of fruit and vegetables in a typical day. :chewing:

Jinxed,

Do you still want a buddy? If so, let me know :) I'm just starting the 6 week phase myself.

Good luck!
