I'd like to thank the Academy...

Just kidding.

Yes I made it to goal. But I didn't do it alone. Here is the list of supporters. it is long and distinguished.

Thanks to Calories Per Hour and all of the wonderful people who post here. You are a bit of my extended family in a way. This diary is my little log of my journey. It contains many of my bits of wisdom. It also serves as a reminder of the pitfalls and traps that I encountered on my journey. Thanks Peter, Obsessed with Fitness, Scoobees, Clarinetgurl, Hisgal, Nir, Trimblebe, Zenobia, and all the others who have shared this with me! I will keep everyone posted on my continued adventure...maintenance.

Thank you to Weight Watchers. They gave me support, education, encouragement, and a new me. My journey started with WW before I found CPH.

Thank you Beach Body, and more specifically Chalene Johnson and Turbo Jam. Who knew an infomercial could have such an impact? Without Turbo Jam, I don't know if I ever would have found CPH. I'm almost certain I wouldn't have found my biceps or my abs without TJ.

Thank you to my loving and supportive husband. Thanks to my family, especially my sister who encouraged WW after she had success with it. Thanks to my dental hygienist. She is a WW lifetime member and was a real inspiration to me.

Thank you to Skipper, my dog. She's my walking buddy as well as my couch potato partner. My user name is in her honor.

My before photo is not digital. I will have it digitized and post before and after pictures when I get the chance.

Weight Watchers gives you four points per day back when you start on maintenance.

At my current weight I was getting 19 points per day. I now get 23. Plus we get 35 weekly points, and we earn points for exercise called activity points.

Last week, my last week of the weight loss phase, I used all my activity points, all my 35 weekly points and all my daily points. In addition, I ate 18 points over that and lost 2 pounds. I'm hoping that will bode well for my ability to maintain my weight.

I just need to continue tracking what I eat and staying within my boundaries. WW is supposed to be a lifestyle change. They say don't do anything on WW that you won't be able to do your entire life.

Here is what I discovered about myself in this journey...

1. I can live without the following: Doritos, Fritos, 1% milk (I made the full switch to skim), nearly any vending machine item especially bear claws and snack cakes, chicken wings, fruit juice...(I may edit to add more to this list)

2. I cannot live without popcorn, broccoli, baby cut carrots, milk, butter, full fat cream cheese and sour cream, canola oil, shrimp, my teflon omelet pan, my crock pot, Thomas' light English muffins, flat-out tortilla shells, gala apples, peanut butter, almonds, Nike Shox, Turbo Jam, and sugar snap peas...(I may add more here, too)

3. I have abs, biceps, deltoids, hip and collarbones.

4. A standard dachshund is a perfect walking buddy. She goes at just the right pace for me, and I don't have to talk to myself.

5. I hate elliptical and bicycle machines.

6. I have willpower and perseverence.

7. I like whole wheat way better than white bread. And I can substitute whole wheat flour in recipes and get way better baked goods.

8. I can read labels far better than I ever could before. LABELS ARE DECEPTIVE! Must say "whole wheat", not "made with whole grains", not "wheat", not "contains whole grains". Zero grams per serving DOES NOT MEAN 0 GRAMS. That little phrase, regarding fat, sugar, or trans fat, is seldom used to help you. READ THE SERVING SIZE. One package doesn't necessarily mean one serving. It could be 2 or 3. Better to find out before you empty the package than after.

9. I like clothes shopping again.

10. Setting an example is a better way to get my family to eat better than nagging.:dog:

I wanted to add my congratulations to all the others.  That is so great for you.  I know it didn't come easily but with a lot of determination on your part.  I'm new here and just getting started but have already been so inspired by each person I have either met or read.  I hope you continue to post.

Thanks for the diary.

 Ok that made me choke on my :coffee:!

I love your 'discovery' lists.  I see a lot of myself in those lists, too.  And I absolutely refuse to live a life without popcorn .

 I like clothes shopping again.

My newly found passion!

Unfortunately, I am not doing as well in this dept.  They continue to eat whatever they want. :chewing:  Of course, the food that that my son consumes away at college is beyond my control now.

It sounds like your daily points are going to work out fantastic for your maintenance plan.  Man, I love that word!!

I look forward to hearing all your reports!!

Thanks again everyone.

In reading today's posts, I realized that I have an ultimate secret weapon that you ladies do not have in your arsenal.

I have an IUD. It's a birth control device that has completely eliminated my periods. I don't get any of the monthly diet sabotaging cravings, cramping, bloating. I never really had problems with moodiness., but I used to get very run-down and lethargic. I don't have to deal with that. I never realized what an advantage it was. But thinking back to my pre-child days I can really appreciate that little piece of plastic.:dog:

Well maintenance isn't exactly easy.

I tracked and recorded everything. I wasn't awful and I wasn't spectacular, but I gained 1.2 pounds this week. So now I'm attempting to work that back off.

I have done Total Body Blast a few more times and I've decided I really like it. Unfortunately, I can't do it in my basement. The concrete floor is hard on the pilates ball and the ceiling is too low. I can only do it at the club. I always feel guilty hogging the TV/DVD for a full hour program.

Has anyone else noticed the high attrition rate at the health clubs. New Years Resolutions are rapidly falling to the wayside. I'm so glad I started in March. That makes this a lifestyle thing and not a New Years only thing.

I had an assortment of other exercise today. I walked my dog two miles. And, I attempted to scrape the ice from the back sidewalk. It was bitterly cold this week and there was no way I wanted to do it. Today it warmed up, though. (That's the other reason I was able to have a long dog-walk session.)

When it was cold, I made Skipper a little blanket-style dog coat. She looks like a plaid sausage. Too cute. She walks funny, as if she's trying to shake it off. But she does appreciate the warmth.

My supermarket had a sample of Mahi Mahi with a horseradish cream last week. It was to-die-for yummy. I'm making that for dinner tonight. It should be reasonably healthy. I'm trying to decide what veggies to serve with it.

Oops, I hear my younger daughter complaining she's starving. I better get dinner started.:dog:

Yeah, I had a feeling it wouldn't be easy.  I'm a bit nervous about that if I ever get there.

I'm getting a visual - I bet she's adorable!!:dog:

I so remember that when I was a member.  Every January you would meet sooo many nice people - but were afraid to get too friendly because you knew they'd be gone really soon.  They'd always want to be your workout partner...set up workout dates & times...then disappear in less than a month LOL.

I've got my fingers crossed that maintenance becomes a bit easier for ya Skipper.  And thank you so much for your words of encouragement in my diary.

I weigh in on Wednesday this week because we're having a pizza party at work on Friday.

I have been really good with journalling and with food and exercise this week. The scale at work shows me up another 2 pounds. What the hey? I'm sort-of dreading this weigh in. I have been eating so much fresh produce. I can't figure out why I seem to be gaining. Maybe fruit and vegetables are making me fat! Not likely!

I have also been drinking a lot of water (even more than the recommended amount). Maybe I need to look for a secret source of sodium or something in my diet.

I worked out in shorts for the first time last night. My legs are looking pretty good until about 4 inches above my thigh. That's where I have the Reeses Pieces saddlebags. Ugh. They are far less yucky, but I don't think I'll ever get rid of them

And another thing...When I was heavier, I had this plumper younger looking skin. Now I seem to have a turkey neck. Ick. I'm really hoping that It's just because of the season and my dry skin. But, I think I'm actually starting to look my age.

That's about it for now.:dog:

Sorry about the gain. I truly think its water, muscle or too much FIBER in your diet. Maybe you just need to go to the bathroom??? LOL. Sorry that's my problem sometimes.

I feel the same way and was just thinking about that today!!!!!!  I have great legs except when it comes to the Chocolate Raspberry Fudge Torte Frozen Yogurt saddlebags.   I ate enough of that frozen yogurt in my life that it probably moved in and set up shop right here on my upper thighs!!!! Gross. And I am only 29!! What the heck? I was just thinking this morning how I just noticed for the first time ever that I have small lines around my eyes!!!! WHAT? I dont tan :angry:or smoke and I laugh  and sleep and wear sunglasses:cool: everyday. Why lines??? Beats the heck outta me. But I dont like them. Maybe its my upcoming BIG birthday:birthday_cake: in 17 days...its got me stressing, who knows. But I dont want to start looking my age-my career depends on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OWF, I think 30 was my best year. So many awesome things came together in that year. I hope the same goes for you. You deserve it!

I attribute a lot of my facial aging to my Aruba honeymoon. I can still see tan, or rather burn-line scars when I get out of the sauna or a hot shower.:dog:

Wow, Manda, thanks. I will try that exercise.

Ugh, what a week!

My car battery died sometime Tuesday night. So Wednesday, my car wouldn't start. My husband and I couldn't get it jump-started, so he drove me to work. Then my younger daughter was sick, so he had to pick her up early.

We bought a new battery and my car started. But Thursday, The idle was surging to the point that the car stalled anytime I idled it (meaning every traffic signal). So I drove it to the dealer. I had to rent a loaner car. I talked to the mechanic today. It needs about $2000 in repairs. UGH! Not only that but I have this stinky pathetic rental car until at least Monday.

Just when I think I have things under control and we can start saving for something fun...whammo.

I didn't get ant exercise Wed. or Thurs. I may try tonight, but I feel spent!

I did lose .4 pounds at weigh-in this week. I think I'm really getting the hang of maintenance now. I need to concentrate on getting my dairy, fruits and veggies. Then things seem to come together. The strawberries and cherries have been awesome lately. They're not cheap, but totally worth every penny.

It's snowing hard right now. We're supposed to get slammed with both snow and bitter cold this weekend. I'm really missing my all-wheel-drive with heated seats.

I don't think I'll be doing much outdoor walking.:dog:

Congrats on the loss! I can't even imagine maitenance. That just really must be so awesome.

About your comment in my diary...I can't imagine a prom dress with a hoopskirt! Wow. Yeah, everyone's starting to get really hyped up about prom. I'm not going. i think some friends and I might go bowling.

Have a nice night! Stay warm! We finally got some real snow here too..

Sorry to hear about your vehicle problems, Skipper.  It is ALWAYS something, isn't it?  We are also getting hit big time with severe winter weather.  Last week was 5 'clippers' and now the deep freeze and below zero wind chills.  Yuk!!!  The one thing I am thankful for is that we are a bit west of the 'snow belt' that gets all the lake effect snowstorms; we are in the seconday belt which usually gets less.  But these temps!!  OMG, we had to go out to get our taxes done, and run some errands and I couldn't believe how cold it is - actually painful!!!  They are already thinking of closing schools around here for Monday due to these temps.

Congrats on your weigh in! :shooting_star:  It does sound like you are definitely getting the hang of maintenance - that's fantastic!

Apparently my computer was really slow in posting. I didn't realize I double-posted or triple posted my entries. It seems to be OK tonight.

Well, all yesterday and today the snow bands have drifted back and forth. The wind is brutally cold and fierce. One minute I will look out a starry skies, the next, I can't see the trees in my backyard. We've had probably about 8 inches, but it's blowing around so much, that it's hard to tell. Some places I can see pavement, others it's two feet deep.

I had a great workout today. I have decided I like Turbo Jam Total Body Blast. I really feel that I'm working hard. It also has short little intervals that alternate. It gives natural breaks for me to get water, etc. It has a lot of toning, but it's light toning. It is just enough that I am afraid to do full body sculpting the next day. I generally will take a 48 hour break from weight training after the program. I did it with almost all the high impact parts. I can feel it in my abs tonight.

No walk for Skipper and me tonight. The weather is too cold and the sidewalks are not shoveled. The snow reaches her shoulders. The AKC does an annual census of all the registered dogs in each breed. Dachshunds are the 6th most popular breed nationally, but they rank 10th in Buffalo. My guess is that it is because they aren't really very adept in deep snow.:dog:

Manda, the twilight sleep is what we call IV sedation. It is far less invasive than general anesthesia. With general anesthesia, you are intubated (they place a tube down your throat to breathe). There is a longer recovery or waking up period after surgery.

In the vast majority of cases I recommend IV sedation. You will probably not remember the procedure at all. I had it once when I had a small surgical procedure. It was very pleasant for me, but I understand your fearfulness. I work with psychiatric patients and the vast majority have had some form of abuse or trauma in their lives. There is a sense of losing control when you get the IV. I would recommend having someone you really trust with you when they are administering the anesthesia. Once that part is over, the rest is easier. You will be sore and swollen afterwards. Make sure to stock up on healthy high calcium foods. Frozen yogurt or dairy smoothies are very helpful after surgery.

Good luck!:dog:

I'm still around.

I have had stress galore. I have not turned it into eating. My car needed $3500 in repairs, plus it cost me $500 for a rental while it was being repaired.

It is still not right. You can't make payments on car repairs. If you want the car back, you need to pay for it up front. I had to defer other payments to make the repairs. I am so frustrated I could cry.

My husband broke his finger and dislocated it in two different places a week ago Sunday. Then his I-pod broke. He can't do any weight-lifting for awhile. He has a bone fragment that will float in his finger forever. Ugh.

I need to sit down and do my taxes. We should be getting a big refund. I just can't seem to find the time to collate everything.

This is me at my lowest. I'm having a hard time looking at the positives right now, but here they are...

My mother in law finally sold her house. It closes in about 6 weeks. She was carrying 2 mortgages and had lost her job in the spring. That is where our savings cushion went.

We have our health.

I will make lifetime on Weight Watchers this week. This means I have stayed within two pounds of my goal weight for 6 weeks!!!! It also means I don't have to pay for weight watchers as long as I stay within two pounds of my goal weight.

Yay.

Gotta Go, hopefully I'll be back soon.:dog:

Oh Skipper...I am so sorry to hear you're experiencing such a rough patch right now.  Car repairs have a way of sneaking up and biting ya right on the booty.  That really stinks!  The repair bills are usually downright ridiculous - but what can you do?  I'm sorry to hear about your hub's finger too!  It sounds like he really did a number on it.

I'm glad you're trying to see through to the positives, though. :sun: Most of this stuff is only temporary, thank goodness!  And how huge is it that turning to food didn't even enter into the equation?? Huge.  And making it lifetime on Weight Watchers?!  How great is that???  Congratulations!:shooting_star:  I am sure staying within a 2 pound range of goal weight is no easy task LOL!

I'm sending all the good vibes I can muster up to ya!  I hope all this other stuff passes real quickly for you.  I'm glad you checked in though...the rest of us are wondering what it's like on the 'other side' (maintenance) LOL!!!!  I hope you're able to come back soon!

Holy Cow, my diary moved way down the list. I had a hard time finding it.

I earned Lifetime Membership in Weight Watchers today. One day shy of a year since joining WW.

I am still wallowing in stress but I am still eating "on program" (meaning I'm following the good health guidelines and counting my points). I haven't been getting in as much exercise as I'd like, though.

I actually lost 1.6 pounds this week. I am currently at 133 pounds. My goal was 135.

Today was quite springlike, however, next week is supposed to return to the teens again. I spent some time chopping ice in the driveway. If it refreezes as is, our driveway will be ugly.

My car still isn't right, but it's all I've got.

I may post some recipes to the recipe board later. I've got a great Cannellini bean soup recipe that's healthy, creamy and flavorful.:dog:

My diary was on page two. Holy Cow:cow:.

I'm still maintaining. I went up a pound or two, but I am still hovering around my goal weight.

This was the first week since joining weight watchers that I did not go to a meeting.

I haven't been Turbo-Jamming as much. I have been doing a lot more outdoor activity, yardwork and dog-walking.

I showed Skipper today. She took reserve winners. That is the dog show equivalent of always a bridesmaid, never a bride. Reserve winners don't earn any points unless the winner is somehow disqualified or ineligible.

I took my first ever pilates class a few weeks ago. WOW! The exercises are so intense, but many don't seem horribly difficult. I am really impressed with how much pilates is incorporated in turbo jam. By the next day, I was incredibly sore. My abs, hamstrings, pectorals and my entire core were screaming! It tokk three days to recover enough to do toning again. I still did cardio, but I had to scale it back a bit.

The instructor was amazing. I can only fit it in once a week, but many of the moves are ones I could incorporate into my routines at home.

I hope all my friends here are well. I'm going to check up on all of you.:dog:

I have had one foot off the wagon for a couple weeks. I know I'm up a few pounds. I have to the end of the month to get back to within two pounds of my goal weight.

I have been so incredibly busy lately. Every time I think I'm going to get a break, something else happens to make my life crazy.

I haven't done a full turbo Jam workout in about 10 days. I will do it tonight, but I don't feel well right now. Something I ate at dinner last night seems to be sticking with me.

I have been walking two miles pretty regularly up until the last four days. It is frigid around here. I need an icicle emoticon.

I need to finish my taxes this week, but I also need to take a trip to Albany for work on Friday. Nine hours in the car and a four hour meeting is not how I want to spend my Friday.

I'll peek in on the rest of you later.:dog:

Count me in for the 'one foot off the wagon' club, too.  I had finally gotten back on track last week after a few bad days only to fall completely off over the entire weekend.  Ugh.  I feel like a big, fat slug.  Today is a new day...back on track with diet & exercise and joined the Memorial Day Challege to get that fire burning again.

I'm sorry to hear life's been so hectic, Skipper.  Sending you a whole bunch of hopes for a much needed break!  Keep up your wonderful work, girl!

I FINALLY got in a solid Turbo Jam workout today after about a three week hiatus.

MAN DID IT FEEL GOOD!!!

I did it on the big TV at The club. There was an elderly man doing stretches and abs from a chair with his cane. I had such admiration wor his dedication to his workout. He applauded when I finished the Turbo part. He siad he was very impressed with my workout and he thought I could teach a class. I'm sure I blushed, but it felt nice to have someone notice all my effort.

I told him without the DVD, I'm helpless. I have thought about recruiting others to do the workout with me, but I don't always go at a consistent time. I know I have sold a few pairs of the weighted gloves for Beach Body.

I am almost completely back on the wagon. Last week I was sick with a mind exploding head cold. It prevented me from working out, but also curbed my appetite so I didn't do much damage. I think I am actually down a pound.

I did bite the bullet and weigh in last week. I was right at my goal weight. It was a 2.4 pound increase from my all-time low, but at least it means I have maintained better than I thought.

I was a bit piggy last night. My husband and I went to a Make-a-Wish benefit dinner. The mini-beef wellington hors-douvres were to die for. I had three. I didn't even take anything from the fruit/veggie table. How not like the WW me. I think that's why I put extra effort into my Turbo routine. Plus it was nice to be able to taste what I was eating.

The weather was gorgeous here today. I hope it continues. My backyard dried out enough for me to go scoop doggy-do. Always a fun chore.

My Buffalo Sabres are doing well. I guess life is pretty OK today. Now I need to do about 6 loads of laundry. I'll try to check in later. :dog:

Are you almost finished with the laundary, Skipper?

Oh, I would like to go to a Make a Wish dinner! They granted my wish. Well, actually a group called Dream Connection did, but it is exactly the same principal, Dream Connection just operates in my region. They sent me on a free trip to Washington DC, and gave me a tv and some VHS tapes. We go to fly to DC, and ride in a limo to the hotel. I thought it was THE COOLEST thing ever.

Congrats on still being at your goal!!

I hope you're having a good day!!

Hey you!  Get back here Skipper!!!  I had to go and find you on page 2!!!

Thanks for stopping by my diary the other day - it's nice to know you stop in from time to time and keep in touch with us.

Is maintenance still going well for you?  Are things still crazy?  Have you found the time to Turbo Jam lately?  I'm just full of questions!

I hope you pop in sometime soon and give us all an update.  Hope you're doing well!

Thanks Scoobees for pulling my diary off of page two.

My life has been verrry busy. Still, I should visit here more often than I do.

I have been maintaining since January. I was at a low of 132.8 pounds which was a 61 pound loss total. I am hovering at about 135-136. This seems to be my body's natural set point. It is a weight that I can maintain without obsessing about my food and exercise all the time.

I try to continue with the Weight Watchers 8 healthy guidelines. I can usually get my two dairy and 5 fruit/vegetable servings. I have a hard time keeping my point count in check. I am good at drinking 8 eight ounce glasses of water.

I haven't been as religious about my Turbo Jam workouts. I have been walking a lot with my dog. I have been trying to get eight miles in per week. I have also been taking classes in pilates/core exercises. Turbo Jam really incorporates a lot of pilates. These classes are incredibly intense and seem to be really changing the shape of my body. I still have lumpy thighs, though.

My car completely died a few weeks ago. I have been limping along with a borrwed car and getting rides from my husband. I put over $3500 into the now dead car in Feb., and we have been helping family with money woes, so I am having a hard time getting a replacement automobile.

I really would like to win the lottery. Just once would be fine. I'm not greedy about it.

I am preparing a garage sale this week. Fun! I didn't realize how much junk I had accumulated until I started cleaning out cabinets. I have about 15 storage totes of kids clothing to sell. Fifteen totes...so that's where all the money went. Yikes.

Well, off to continue sorting and pricing.:dog:

Glad to hear from ya Skipper!

That says alot!  How awesome to reach that weight...and to have a range that you know you can maintain without having to obsess.  Obsessing is something that's been a constant for me lately.  Even though my goal is only 3-4 pounds away, I've been at it for months.  The first 72 lbs seem to have been almost easy at this point LOL!

Sorry to hear about your car troubles.  I'd like in on that lottery win, too!

Good luck on the garage sale - and don't be such a stranger!!

Nice to hear from you for me to! You're a success story!

Sorry about your car. For me they are no fun even when they work -- just transportation. And something awful when they don't!

My 85 year old mother got a new car a couple years ago and gave me her old '97 Toyota... the first "new" car I've had in 17 years!

Elliptical Lover, we missed you!!!! Where have you been, girl?

I have been a slug for the last month. Many things have been unsettled. I have finally found a car. I will hopefully take posession this week. I am going to send my old car to auction , rather than trading it in. I think  I can extract a few more dollars that way. Several of the parts including the brakes front and rear, rotors, etc are new (less than 1500 miles on them).

I am getting a Subaru Outback.

I have not been following an eating or exercise plan for at least three weeks. I really need to get back on track. Not having access to a car has really upset my routine. I have been shopping on odd days and I can't run to the store on my lunch break for a healthy salad or even a light microwave meal.

I actually had the girls' babysitter pick me up after worke a few times. Ugh. She is a college student and drives a better car than mine. How embarassing!

I can't believe the girls start back to school in a couple weeks. I have been able to do most of their school shopping online so I don't have to walk. My *baby* starts kindergarten this year. Her backpack was backordered. She is going to be bummed if it doesn't arrive before school starts.:dog:

Yes, I am alive.

I am also 12 pounds heavier. I just started back to Weight Watchers meetings. I now have to pay for them again because I am well above goal weight. I am also back into the overweight category for my height.

My pants were getting tight. I fell off the fitness wagon, somewhat.

On the plus side, I have started once a week with a personal trainer who kicks my hiney, hard. I hate him when I work with him, but the results are unmatched. I am still Turbo-Jamming, but I am not as dedicated as I once was. I need to rediscover whatever it was that got me to my goal weight and beyond. I maintained until about September. It is amazing how quickly the weight can come back.

Many of my newer clothes no longer fit. That doesn't keep me from wearing them, but it makes me mad at myself.

I will try to check in here more frequently. I do miss the people here. I will try to catch up on the diaries of the 'regulars'.

Other than that all is well. :dog:

heh- i just treid to find your journal a few days ago.  it was waaaaayyyyy down there.  i think someone said something about another avid TJ fan and you were one of the first to come to mind (in my head, it was always scoobs and skipper!)

so, you are back?  i hope so...  oh, and i kdon't know if you know, but i did get TJ and OMG i fell in love.   if you need help in finding the awesomeness of TJ, i could spout out a whole bunch of stuff.  as soon as the holidays are over i am so going to get another TJ package.  i really can't wait!!!

oh, and i would LOVE to have a personal trainer.  lol- does that make me a masochist?  how cool is that?  someone to actually make you stay in line?  it's totally different to look at someone in the eyes and say that you feel off of your food paln or really didn't have the energy to work out....  if i could, i so would..  take advantage of it, girl!

keep us posted on how things are going.  and again, i am stoked that you are back!

SKIPPER!!!!!!!!!! :grin::grin::grin:

Gosh I havent been too religious about checking in here myself on others diaries (or I have but cant post cause of time issues) but boy was I amped to see your name!!!!!!! Gosh its been awhile!! Sorry about the weight gain!! :nono: Did you see Biggest Loser??? Crazy that they said 90% of us put it back on! I cant believe it. But I gained back weight too...:crying:My clothes werent fitting and for about 5 months I just avoided writing things down and made excuses for why I was "bloated" until I got weighed and that was a wake up call!! So I am back in the challenges forum with the others. Think I will always have to stay committed here-feeling like we have a small family of members who "get it" you know? Anyway, you are welcome to post and I will check back in as much as possible to support you or in my diary or in the challenges. I was wondering how you and your pup were doing? Its officially winter Skipper! We got about a foot of snow on the ground-I think you do as well?

We are here, as a team, never going to give up the fight!! Did you see there is a million pound march for Jan 1st from the Biggest Loser? I guess you sign up online. I was thinking of doing it. I could donate a good 15 pounds!

HEY SKIPPER    Welcome back from me too!   Sounds like we are all so glad to see you back here, doesn't it?   Doesn't that make you feel good?   I think OWF is right, we will always need this.......or at least most of us!   Why do we let ourselves get off track, and put the weight back on?   I wish someone could tell me.   I am in the same boat

Between tennis elbow last June (which still hurts some today), and peri-menopause depression/mood swings, I have eaten too much and exercised too little............and we all know what that formula adds up to, now don't we???    June 16th, I weighed 155.2 and my size 10's were loose, and now I am somewhere over 175 (because I am afraid to step on the scale) and my size 12's are snug

The positive in all this????   I am still at CPH, and I know my buddies will get me through it, and back to June 16th weight, and then on to goal.   I will never give up!  Let's start the new year with renewed zeal!     Hisgal

Hi Skipper!  It was so cool to see you had posted again!  Tough about the 12lbs....but it's such a teeny tiny regain you'll knock it back off before you know it.  And very cool about working out with a PT!  Maint. is no joke---even when we "know" going in that it's not going to be all that easy...it still ends up being a bit a surprise how hard it really is sometimes...

Skipper!!!!  How great to see you again!!!  Sorry to hear about the dreaded gain; me too...I've been slowly going up the scale since I reached goal in August.  I've let financial matters totally destroy my diet habits these last few months.

I know we can get back in the ole saddle again!  Just know you are truly missed around here!  Hope you're able to get back to posting once again.

Merry Christmas!
