Anyway I did great yesterday but today I had some mixed veggies with a little velveeta cheese on them because that was what was left over from dinner. Oh well, before the diet that would have been a huge bowl of icecream with chips and hot sauce afterwards so I don't feel too bad.:yumm: Hope everyone else had a wonderful weekend. By the way, what can be substituted for a fruit smoothie? Is it just a fruit bowl? Just wondering.

:rose:Amber

That's never an easy question from the rules standpoint.  However, rules aside, the shakes are milk and fruit, so fruit is the closest comparison.  Others have eaten the fruit and drank the milk.  No difference to your body, right?

Otherwise, any carb that is natural and low in fat would equate.  I have generated the diets by the dozens to see if I can find the pattern and I can't.  They are fairly random which gives you and equal mix of Proteins, carbs, and both (i.e. sandwich, ham and pinapple, etc.)  I am sure there is a formula, but I don't know it.

In the long term, eating healthy quantities of healthy food should provide weight loss or maintenance.  Right, Peter?  :)

hi my name is klementine i am new to this site. maybe the atkins diet would work for you. i wish i had more advice to offer. i do have a question for you though. when you reduced your caloric intake to 1500. was that only watching calories or including the caloriew from carbs, protiens, and fats???? im stuck too. i cant imagine everything included that would be like starving yourself. good luck.

i am open for suggestions, and advice. i have 15pnds to lose. also if someone could explain the deficit thing to me, that would be of great help. i did the amount of weight i want to lose x's 3500 divided by the amount of calories i would be cutting back on, and it told me is was going to take 59 days to lose 15pnds. is that right???

sincerely,klementine

I've been a voyeur of this discussion on the 11-day diet(i dont like the idiots thing) for a while now and registered to share my results with everyone for info and inspiration maybe.  i am on the ninth day of my second cycle and as of this morning ive lost 16 pounds.  i even gained 5 on the cheat days and lost them all plus.  i lost 10 lbs on the first cycle and 6 so far on this one.  i am really excited about the diet because i am a numbers person - the scale is my motivator (and my worst enemy at times)  i have eaten the bread on the hot dog and hamburger meals, and i have stuck to the diet pretty religously.  by the way i started dieting on WW at 357lbs - i lost 19, i then started this diet at 338 and am now 322.

just wanted to share and proclaim my attraction to the ease and results of this diet...

Well, I am starting the 11th day and I have lost 9 pounds so far. I am ecstatic.:D I have also lost inches (a total of 7 inches off my whole body) and that is what thrills me the most. I have been religiously walking for 45 minutes everyday and I think that has made the most difference. I will see ;) you guys after the 3 days are up. Keep up the good work everybody.

Today was weigh in and I lost 2 lbs. -- not great, but moving in the right direction.  I couldn't walk for several days this segment which makes me realize more than ever how important the walking is!

My goal was 25 lbs., but now that I've lost 24  I've decided to go for 5-10 more -- I guess I was worse off than I thought!

Hope everyone else has continued success!

Me too.  I am down from my 257 in Sept. and 243 Jan 2nd to 228 today.  Now three days of reward!

I also have decided I need to go closer to 200 than I thought.  I thought 220 would be great for me, and while it is great, it is not the end!

JenMichael, it was really nice reading your post. It is comforting to read inputs from members who have been on the diet more that 1 or 2 cycles.

Keep up your progress and PLEEEAASE keep letting us know about it.

I am 5'9" and my weight at Monday's weigh in was 185 lbs. Today is day 6. Its my fruit and veggie day and that's kinda tough but I'll get through it.
I'd like to be around the mid 150's range. I will graduate from college on April 22. It would be great to be around mid 160's by then.

I am looking forward to tomorrow so I can eat something other than fruits and veggies.....

Back to Day 1 but with a new generation.  I get tired of gaining weight on the days off, but I know it will fall off in the first few days.  I thought I was good, but apparently I will need to be careful going off this diet with my food choices or quantities because I gained 7 pounds on the scale from Friday AM to today.

Doc-B and Bobby,

Are you still on the diet and on this board?  What is your gain over your off days?

I'm also back on Day 1.   I go with the "ignorance is bliss" mantra.  I know that I gain on my three days, but I don't look until I'm well into the 11 day cycle and I feel that I've lost.  In addition to that, I do believe that easy on, easy off.  The quicker it went on, the faster it will come off, so whatever is gained over the weekend tends to come off quickly.  I'm judging my weight loss from the first day that I started the diet and judge the weight loss by what I weigh at the end of the 11 days.

Good luck!

Hi,

I'm new to the board.  I started WLFI 7 days ago and have lost 9 pounds so far.  I'm a little nervous about my 3 days off, but it's really helped reading your messages.  I'm going to be really careful with my amounts and my water.  I will make sure I keep up my exercise too.  I will keep you all posted on my loss.

Thanks

Coreena;)

Well, It is back to Day 1 and I did go pretty far left during my 4 days off. I decided to wait until today to go back on instead of Sunday. I did not have much trouble keeping off the weight I lost. I only put back on 2 pounds. Anyway, I have done well today and I am looking forward to more weight loss.:D

Coreena, congrats on your 9 lbs.

this is my first day on the diet.  i found it this weekend while surfing the net and researched it.  i spent hours searching it and had a hard time finding anything negative about it.  so we (my boyfriend and i) decided to try it out.  i have about 100lbs i want to lose and have been doing a very low carb diet since new years but just haven't seen the results i did in the past.  i'm thinking my body needs a bit shaking up and wl4i sounds like a good try.

i have a few questions to anyone that would answer.  i'm very familiar with fat, carbs, and calories of most foods.  i'm wondering about the vegetables.  i'm used to eating the lower carb veggies like greens, broccoli, squash, ect.  does anyone eat the starchier ones like peas, carrots, corn and still have weight loss?  those would be like a treat to me.  one more question.  i have a hot dog on one of my meals.  does that include the bun?  if so, white bread, wheat bread, or should i use the oat bread i bought?  what's worked for you?

i'm very excited about next friday and look forward to tomorrows postings, it's motivating reading!

For my veggie meals, I do eat some starchy foods with my green foods.  I try to balance.

I should probably do this. It does not discourage me that I gain, but I do wonder what I am doing that is so wrong. :cow:

Akela,

You made a great choice with WLFI .  I too have about 80 pounds to lose and have done every diet you can imagine.   When I first started the diet and it was time for me to have veggies, because I have been on low carb diets, I automatically didn't have any starchy veggies.  But, my husband quickly reminded me that corn, carrots & peas are veggies too.  Last night for supper I had caulifower, broccoli & corn fried up in a pan with pam spray and molly Mcbutter.  It was delicious.  I woke up this morning and I lost another Pound.  I also had a hamburger with Cheese a regular bun and what ever condiments I wanted,  I have still continued to lose.  Sometimes this diet isn't specific, and I know I get confused because I've been on so many diets, all with different rules.  Thank God for this message board.  Well good luck Akela,  let me know how you and your boyfriend are doing.  Oh by the way my daughter is doing this too and she has lost 8 Pounds.

Gotta go

Hello Everyone:

First let me say that I'm so happy to have finally found a site to discuss WL4I.  When I first stumbled upon the site I too was kinda of skeptic, but then I quickly overcame that and decided to go for it.  I am on session #5 and am down 17lbs:D  The past 2 weeks have been rather tough for me.  But I am back in business now.

I look forward to getting to know everyone.

Wecome, Anita!  What is going on (diet wise) the last 2 weeks?  Just on and off or off altogether?

I am struggling a bit right now with my weight dropping as is my wife.  We are on round #4 for for 2006 and I have gone from 243 to 228.  But then over the weekend back up to 235 and now at 230.  5 lbs loss is good in three days, but 7 pounds added in three days (Fr-Su) is frustrating.

I seem to spend the first week of each round losing what I "put on" (or never really lost?!!) on my days off.  I do eat sweets and junk food, but I try to stay to four meals spaced.  I am NOT good about water on weekends, but otherwise I thought I was following "the plan".

I have changed a couple of things about the time I slowed.  I have added diet drinks (coffee with splenda sweetened cocoa and diet coke).  My slowing is at the time I added these, but I don't know if they are relevant.  Also my walking disipated so I have renewed my efforts here.

Does anyone have any insight?

First off I have to get the hang of how to use this board:dizzy:

Dobie - Thanks for the encouraging words.  The past 2 weeks have been rocky for me due to the fact that I haven't been very good.  I am on day 4 of my 5th session.  We have a weight loss contest going on at work so I am trying to get my head back in the game so I can win!!

I have been naughty when it comes to the exercise thing as well.  I picked back up on it starting this past monday.  On my days off I have been very naughty, but have noticed that I will only gain 1-2lbs back.  I do notice that my weight loss stalls when I don't walk or do any exercise.  Water is not a problem for me.  I can't seem to get enough.

Hope to chat with everyone soon.

Hello all. I finished up my first cycle and today starts my cheat days. I weight myself this morning and I lost 8 lbs :D:thumbsup: I am so happy with that. I didn't really do the recommended exercise by I stuck to the diet to a T. Next cycle I will be sure to get my walks in though. I'm gonna have to drag myself outta bed early to get it in. No time in the evenings due to school. So, I knew this plan would be good, now I can truly say that it's working for me..

Hello Everyone, I hope ya'll are doing great. I haven't been so good. I have had the flu this week and the first few days I was still on the diet but these last few all I have wanted was soup and crackers on my stomach,  so I am going to start this session over when I am well. I hope this will be in the next few days. Congratulations Jayelle!!! Keep up the good work.

That is great.  My question is I am on day 2 of the three day cardiac diet.  I lost 2 lbs. in one day.  You are supposed to stay on this diet for 3 day and then go off for 4 but you are supposed to lost 10 lbs. in 3 days.  I will stay on for 5 days.  It is not hard, but the first day was #%@&! in the beginning.  This diet is a lot of vegetables, fruits and cottage cheese but also vanilla ice cream.

The one that you are on, basically is it easy to use because I work a 14 hour day and I have to bring my breakfast, lunch and dinner to work.  I would like to keep on this cardiac diet but I think I will need more of a variety because you eat the same things every week on those 3 days.  I do like the ice cream but the cottage cheese is hard for me because I hate cottage cheese.

I need something that is easy to bring, like yogurt, fruits.

Thanks for your help.

I am sorry I just thought of another question.  The $27.00 is for 90 days.  After 90 days, it is another 27.00 for 90 days.

Thanks!!!

Hi Everybody,

I have been reading these forums for about 3-4 days now during my free time at work. I read it from the very first posting until today. I must say I feel like I know you all very well! Especially Dobie who's been a force that's been going strong and full of advice to everyone for the past few months. It's very impressive to read about all your obstacles and how you overcome them. I think its very hard for people who arent overweight to understand that making such a commitment (DIET) and being able to stick with it is not as simple as it is for them. My boyfriend for example has never had a weight problem in his life, and hes very athletic. He laways tells me how I should lift weight, or do this or that because it worked for him when he was in training for football or wrestling...blah! its enough for me to want to kill him. Anyways, sorry to ramble but I have to get it off my chest. :( I told him I was starting a new diet and he yelled at me and said he didnt want to hear it because every week it seems like I'm trying something new. So that makes me more determined to prove to him that I can do this, although Im really doing it for myself.

I am one of those people that cant be given choices on what I eat, the slim fast diet for example, is the only diet i succeded in because I knew I had to drink one shake for bfast and one for lunch and then i just had a subway sandwich for dinner. The other thing I did with that diet was drink load and load of water, which eventually depleted my system of sodium and fiber because I drank too much.. yes folks you CAN drink too much water. So I like the idea of this diet because the explanations make sense to me and it tells me what to eat:thumbsup:!

Let's get to the point before I bore everyone to death, I started the diet yesterday (MONDAY- GOOD TIP Y'ALL!) and I'm doing ok, I acctaully think Im eating TOO much becasue Im not hungry and I dont really know when to stop eating..its hard to figure it out when ur so used to jsut fisnishing whatever is set in front of you. Ok, so my plan is not to weigh myself until the morning of my first cheat day. Please keep posting, as I have found this forum very motivational and I have heard some great tips for overcoming hardships, and also some great food ideas!

Thanks for all the support you all give to me and everyone else who has had the pleasure of reading your posting

WISH ME LUCK!!:dizzy:

I am on day 7 of my first cycle. I have to say I and others can tell I have lost weight on this WL4I already. My skirt is definitely a lot looser today. Although I must admit I have not followed the suggested meal plans completely, however, I do use the rules and use the meal plans as suggestions on what to eat that particular day. This plan is teaching me to eat different things and to eat the right carbs with the right proteins. After eating low carb the past 9 months, it was time to jump start my metabolism again. As I find that my body gets use to eating the same things and plateaus rather easily. Looks like this is helping. I approach it as a lifestyle change and not a diet as I cannot follow diets to the T. I have lost 7lbs. so far and I must admit I did cheat a little over the weekend. Pillsbury now has "SugarFree" cinnamon rolls (sweetened with Splenda) and I did have one on Sunday. Very tasty and they do NOT taste sugar free.

With the exception of the cinnamon roll I have ONLY eaten the food items suggested on the WL4I food lists, just not always in the way the meal plans suggest. Good luck to everyone.

This is the best thing that you can do for yourself and congratulations on finding the will power to do this for you and not to please someone else. This program has really worked for me. i am on the second round and I did not dread starting back. In fact I looked forward to it. I felt crummy on my days off. Anyways good luck and don't let anyone tell you that you can't do it.

Okay. After my cheats I had only gained 1 pound. Good job I think. I only weigh myself at the start and finish of the cycle. I can't deal with the everyday teetering and totering of the scale. Today is day 2 of cycle two for me and I still feel good about this plan. I have some new foods on my menu this time. I am trying to test different things to see what I like.
I think I am learning to eat until satisfied. I struggled with that at first. Its amazing how our appetites adjust. I don't have any cravings and I thought I was a sugar addict.:P
Guess IPD proved me wrong on that one(whew)
Anyways. You guys have a good one and happy dieting.

this is only my second posting and i'm on day 9 of my first session.  i feel GREAT!!! i came to this diet straight from a very low carb diet and was thinking i wouldn't see as much loss as most due to my body being used to dieting.  well, i weighed today (was going to wait 2 more days) and i've lost 7 lbs!!  i'm sooo excited about continuing for the months to come, i have lots more weight to go!  i do have a question to anyone that will answer.  when i started the diet i wasn't hungry at all between meals, now i find myself getting hungry before my next meal.  i haven't changed anything since i started the diet and have stuck to it to a T.  does anyone else get hungry much?

good luck to everyone and Cris... do the diet for you!!!  your what's most important!

Oh yeah I have an idea for ground turkey I'd like to share for anyone who has it on their menu.
Make Ground turkey meatballs and stuff them with a veggie. I use spinach, but you can use what you like. Season your meat the way you normally would and make it into a patty first, insert your stuffing and make it into a ball around the stuffing. Cook it as you would normally cook a meatball. (TIP) Make sure your stuffing is precooked.
I've had this before stuffed with spinach and cheese. No cheese allowed here so I did it without. You can use any of the permitted condiments as a dipping sauce if you like. It's great with bbq sauce.

First off, Cris, the only thing your boyfriend will be sick of hearing now is about how much weight you've lost!  I tried for a long time to lose weight.  I did, in my opinion, all the right things -- ate healthy, cut calories, exercised more, etc. -- with extremely minimal results.  I started this diet in early November with a goal of losing 25 lbs.  At my last weigh in I was down 24 and have decided to try to go for between 5 and 10 more.  As I get closer to my goal, the weight loss has slowed down a lot but, that's okay, it's still heading in the right direction.   I haven't been able to walk as much these last two sessions because I have a hip injury and, I never thought I'd say this, I MISS it!  I think part of the slow loss is because I haven't been walking as regularly as I need to so make sure you keep that up!

I also wasn't hungry between meals when I started this diet but have noticed in the last couple of sessions that I have been. I'm not sure if it's my metabolism in high gear or what -- I'm just happy that my metabolism seems to be working again!  I've been keeping a constant supply of sugar free jello and cool whip in the refrigerator and when I "need" something, that's what I go for.

I weigh in again on Friday but I'm not sure if I've lost any -- we'll see.  The good news is, I did a little shopping over the weekend and actually liked the way I looked in the size I "used" to wear, but am wearing again comfortably.  It's like walking into someone else's closet now because I can wear things I haven't been able to wear (or ever wear) in a couple of years.  I had a brand new pair of designer pants with tags still on them that were given to me two Christmases ago.  I never exchanged them because in my mind I was "going to lose a few" and then they'd fit fine.  Well, to make a long story short, that never happened.  I tried them on the other day, and they fit perfectly -- what a great feeling!

Keep up the good work everyone!

THANKS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT YOU GUYS!

I also have some cloeths in my closet that were given as gifts or from my thinner days that I hope to fit into some time soon!

I jsut finished eating my ground turkey...ewww! I really should have done a better job preparing it!

Anyways, jsut wanted to drop in and say hi and see if I could get even more motivated by y'all. I havent been doing my walking at all (it is only day 3) but I really should get into gear because it seems that from all the testimonial the people who drank all 10 cups of water and did the necessary walking got the best results!

Cant wait to tell you all how I do...

Later,

Winter is a good time for this diet. It seems that I like more protein in the winter months- part cave woman??? Who knows.

Ground turkey chili with chili powder, tomatoes, onions, garlic  is great. Make a big patch and freeze it. If you don't eat it all this session, you'll have some ready for next time.  My husband loved it and he doesn't need to diet. This is good with cabbage added too. Add some cabbage and let it simmer til done. It makes a messy version of stuffed cabbage rolls. Stuffed bell peppers is another alternative for ground turkey; just leave out the bread or rice filler.  Sloppy Joes (without the bread) is good too. Ground turkey simmered with a little bit of spaghetti sauce. Add a Taco Bell seasoning packet to your turkey meat.

Another thing you can try that is easy...Low fat turkey polish sausage. Pick a low carb one though.  It's ready to go, easy to carry to work and it's good with the condiments. You could change the taste easily by simmering it with different herbs. Great on the grill.

Turkey bacon is a nice treat; for a change.

Also, I make Chicken torilla soup (without the tortillas) it's really good also. Very tasty! a change.

Good luck and hang in there. (I lost about 11-12 lbs and have kept about 10 off. Seems normal to me. I've never NOT gained a some back after a diet.)

I have been reading these forums for about 3-4 days now during my free time at work. I read it from the very first posting until today. I must say I feel like I know you all very well! Especially Dobie who's been a force that's been going strong and full of advice to everyone for the past few months.

Hello, I am from London, England.   I first tried this diet late last year and lost 9lbs in the first cycle.  Then I put 7 lbs back on on my cheat days and was devastated and gave up.  However I really enjoyed the four small meals a day idea and I was seldom hungry on the diet.  I have been reading this forum since last year now ?σΤιΌΤΗ£ Dobie is a great inspiration to me too ?σΤιΌΤΗ£ and although I sprained my ankle last month and still cannot walk I decided not to put it off any longer.   I am now on my fourth day and have lost 3 lbs.  I want to lose 20 lbs altogether, and then I intend to stay on this diet during the week and ease up at weekends and hopefully the weight will stay off.

If Madcow is still logging in to this site ?σΤιΌΤΗ£ how are you doing Antonia?

Good morning...2 questions:

1. Is there such a thing as eating too little on this diet? I feel like Im eating hardly anything, but Im not hungry..I just dont want to screw it up..

2. (sorry if men are reading this) How did you do on the diet during your periods? I always eat more and crave greasy food..any ideas on how to curb the cravings?

Finally, I was a little upset last night because I had fish filet as one of my meals, and I had bought these frozen ones at the store that i figured would be easy enough to stick in the oven and bake. Well I ate half of it and realized that it was called garlic butter fillet...:angry:I ATE BUTTER! I was so angry at my self for being so careless! I feel like I cheated and didnt even mean to! It made me sick after all the effort I've put in..:(I hope it doesnt effect the scale on my 11th day..

Hope someone can asnwer my questions!

Good luck and continued success to all of you,

You're supposed to eat until you're full, but not stuffed.  If you're full after eating just a little, then stop eating, your body probably doesn't need the extra.  I don't think eating the fillets with a little butter/breading coating will hurt -- especially if you're doing everything else properly.  I don't think an 11 day cycle has gone by that I've followed exactly but the program seems to be working anyway.  As I mentioned in previous e-mails -- I find that sugar-free jello curbs cravings for sweets that I have.

Hope this helped.

The garlic butter filets are the only one's I buy.  I am not a big fish eater so garlic butter it is.  I only eat one piece which you know is not big at all.  I weigh tomorrow for my day 11 and I cheated and jumped on the scale and guess what it was  a couple of more pounds from my first weigh in on the first day :D .

So don't feel bad about the fish.  It's not like you eat it everyday.

Is there anyone here who's been on this diet for more than 5 cycles. If there are can you please let me know how things have worked out for you past this point. I appreciate hearing everyones's stories about how their week is going. I am on cycle 2 day 4. (it's late I should be in bed) tomorrow is day 5. My goal is to lose a little less than 35 pounds. I am down 8 from the first cycle and I am wondering how things go medium to long term. As I have read people seem to lose less as time goes on.
Any tips on keeping the metabolism roaring? Or is walking the key to the steadiness? If you veterans wouldn't mind indulging me a bit. (Go on boast, you know you want to :P)

Thanks, Jayelle

I'm not sure how many cycles I've been on, but it's  been at least 5.  I started at the beginning of November with the goal of losing 25 pounds.  I weighed myself this morning and was down 2 more lbs., bringing me to a grand total of 26 lbs. lost.  Now that I'm here, I'd like to lose about 5-7 more.  Yes, I did lose the most (9 lbs.) during the 1st cycle, but that's kind of expected since a lot of it was probably water.  The holidays were in the middle of this and I didn't stick to the plan so much during that time, although I really didn't feel the urge to cheat then as much as I thought I would've, but it did take me a while after the holidays to get back into the "mode."  I've been losing steadily ever since.  The last two cycles I only lost 2lbs. each time but I attribute that to the fact that I have less to lose now, I haven't been able to walk as much and, to be honest, I've done a lot of substituting and have nibbled some.  I'm at the point now where I'm really trying to make this eating style the norm for me, so I need to tweak it a bit to fit my life.  I'm also starting to add more weights and toning exercises in addition to the walking.  My advice to you is, if you fall off, get right back on, keep walking and the weight will come off.

It seems that we want(ed) to lose about the same amount of weight and I'm here to tell you that it's definitely doable!

Hey, Cris.  You sound like me.  You prefer to be a tea totaler.  but if you are on this long term, you CAN'T get it perfect.  And when you are not, don't worry about it!  Even if you only lose one pound a week, you will get there!

Now people do keep talking about "What if I add this or that" or "Is walking the key"?  There is no key.  If you are a touch hungry each day before you eat, when you eat your food is healthy (low fat, salt, etc.), drink your water and walk twice a day, YOU WILL LOSE OPTIMALLY.

Any deviation is not going to give you the highest results you can get.  But please note: WHO CARES? Right?

So you lose some weight but not as much and you had fun.  OR you can stick to it.  Or you don't exercise in the cold rainy months.  Just stick with this as Shamrock said and make it your lifestyle that you will do to whatever degree you can!

You guys are doing great from what I have seen.  And if you aren't doing great, SPEAK UP!  Let's talk it through with you!

Wild applause to Shamrock on a dynamite response!  Bravo, well done, and thank you!  I have been on this diet (off on vacation and holidays, but otherwise on) since August.  Today I am down a new low of 226 which is at least as low as I have been in 10 years.   I have experienced the same as you.  I am only 2 pounds down from Feb 10th, but I went crazy last time I had free days and I ate out twice in fun and exotic (but not advantageous) ways.

Here is how I look at it.  I LOST TWO POUNDS!  Before this diet, I would have KILLED to lose a pound a week and not feel sluggish, miserable, or GUILTY!  Well, that is what I got these past two weeks.  I am down to where I can where a pants size smaller and all my shirts look too baggy around the middle.  Fortunately, we guys can get away with that pretty well. :pig:

My point is, as Shamrock said, adding a bit here in there is fine as long as you don't hate yourself.  For me, it takes an act of Congress to cheat, but when I do, watch out.  If I agree to cheat and keep it in check, then I am successful for me.

Each of us has to do what's best for ourselvs.  For me, I need to be working out and Shamrock just gave me the nudge I need.  So starting Monday on Day 1, I am Dancing to the oldies until I can get outside again in the mornings!

Yes, it is my first cycle this year and it is going brilliantly so far - but that is what happened last time.  I lost 9 lbs altogether in the first cycle - which I admit I did not think was a sustainable loss - but I never expected to put 7 lbs back on over the cheat period as I had kept to four small meals with a 3 hour gap between them and no sweets or anything really bad.  I am now absolutely paranoid about the cheat period and am thinking of not doing it and just going straight into the next cycle and so on until I have lost the whole 20 lbs.  Only thing that stops me is the fear of putting 18 lbs straight back on!

Anyway this site is a great support system and I have taken on board what everyone says about perseverance.  Determined to lose it all by summer!
