| ok. here goes nothing... hopefully someone can give me somekind of advice.. i think im anorexic but im not sure... i mean i dont look like paris hilton or anything.. but you can sorta see my ribs.. also i eat like one meal a day or i break that meal down into different servings... also i hate the way my body looks i look fat to me even though my fiance thinks otherwise.... i get dizzy alot and i always feel tired... i tend to black out if i go a day without eating or whatever and i really just want to get down to like 120.. if i could do that i would be happy... also i have an obsession to weigh myself a lot... but when i do i get angry.. and i have noticed that i am really irritable a lot now. now my lips for some reason are really dry i dont know if that is a sign to anorexia or not but yea my lips crack a lot now... when i wake up is the worst because i refuse to eat before i go to bed but if i do i hate myself for some reason.. but anyways i feel really bad when i wake up i have chest pains and my stomach hurts really bad and i have this weird taste in my mouth.... also i am dehydrated a lot now but i try and drink a lot of water.... please can someone save me from myself... i dont want to look like a rack of bones but in a sick way i do.... i dont know im just so confuessed please someone help me....

| I'm sorry you're having such a hard time....it's a good sign that you recognize this is a problem and are reaching out for help. We can give lots of advice/support here, but I think the first thing you should do is find a professional in your area to talk to. Someone who specializes in ED's and would know the best way to help you.

I think that is great advise. But, I would like some stats here.
age?
height?
Weight?
If you don't want to say, then just do the calculator on here to see where you are at. The systems you have could be something else. But, sounds like you are starving yourself which is not good. Cause you will lose muscles and not fat and in the long run that will make you gain weight. Provided you ever eat again.

I second that advice. If not a professional, then find someone you trust to be sensitive to confide in. Do not wait!!

go to a doctor. if you think something's wrong, they'll be able to help you about 100 times better than anyone here.

Well, according to the calculations, your not under weight or over weight. So, now you just need to deal with your emotions. So, find someone you can talk with about your feelings and issue with food and eating.
I hope you take everyones advise and seek out help. It is not normal or healthy, to get light headed or to starve yourself.

I am 33 now, but when I was between the ages of 14-19 I was severely anorexic. I dieted all the time, always weighed myself, and kept my weight low (but not so low people started saying things) until I was 18 I became so obsessed I got down to 100 lbs. My hair started falling out, my lips cracked, I started growing extra hair on my body to keep it warm, and I ruined my metabolism.
By you eating only one meal a day, your body is already in starvation mode meaning that it is trying to hold on to as much of you it has left, You can get sick, and if you keep going beleive me it will be worse. Mood swings and blacking out are just the beginning. You will ruin your whole system and it takes years to get your metabolism back to normal. I can't say what it is for you, but for me an innocent diet just spiraled into something so sick and twisted that food is all I thought about. I would say, just 5 more lbs and then that wasn't enough, it is never enough. You have to find what makes you happy or what is not making you happy and know that getting thinner and thinner is not going to make your unhapiness go away. You said "if i get down to 120 I will be happy" I have news for you, you won't. It's never enough. You need to get the color back in your face and be healthy! I have so many people give me so many more complients now than I ever did when I was at 100, 120 even 130. I am 149 now, and actually safely trying to lose body fat, not just weight! Something that can be accomplished safely when you follow a healthy diet, and do excersize. You cannot excersize on one meal a day! I suggest you see your doctor and set up an appt with a therapist and a nutritionist, who can help you with getting a plan that you can live with. God Bless!
