one of my roommates and i have been each other's support for losing weight for the past month or so. we both really try to limit our calorie intake and have really tried to keep each other focused.

it's really great and she's been really helpful for me. the only thing is...i'm 95% sure she's been throwing up a lot. this hasn't just been something that's started recently. i noticed it a few months ago. she goes to the bathroom and turns on the shower, but i can hear just about everything.

i really don't know how to talk to her about this. especially since i'm really restricting my eating anyways. i feel almost like a hypocrite. how can i accuse her of being bulimic, when some days i'm almost starving myself?

Accuse her? Why not tell her you are concerned for her well-being and talk to her about it. And what you are doing to yourself doesn't mean you shouldn't express concern for her.

If you are not eating well, you should both consider professional help. You might start by reading the Tutorial (link above) on this website together. The first topic is on eating disorders. They can be very dangerous, and lead to death.

In the tutorial you will also read how eating too little with NOT lead to lasting weight loss.

:palms:You need to just come out and ask her before it gets too late, this is a bad thing i use to do it and not even realize i was doing it because my body was just so used to it....i know you feel like you are in between a rock and a hard place but she needs to know that you know or that you think that she is doing it.....and the almost starving yourself, I've been there, when i get depressed that is what i do and it is just as bad as throwing up.....dieting is very hard but both of you need to watch out for each other, because what both of you are doing is very dangerous.....try eating small meals, not just one a day... that was my problem......hope this may help you.......Kendra:dog:
