Ok so I'm not sure if I have one it's so confusing to me...I'm so disappointed in myself. I mean aren't eating disorders not just about the way you eat but also the way you think about it constantly and constantly think of ways to lose weight no matter what it takes even if it's unhealthy? I mean The disorders Aren't just physical but mental too?

I weigh myself literally EVERYDAY probably 10 to 15 times a day...I will step on..step off....then step on again right after hoping it changes...OBSESSIVELY.

Everytime I sit down to eat I feel a terrible GUILT. Even though I have this guilt I still do it. Which...only intensifies the GUILT.

I ALWAYS OVER-INDULGE.

I dont know...If I did have some form of and eating disorder what would I do about it. How would I go about getting better?

HELP!

When I decided to seek help from a counsellor (at college), I was expecting some sort of diagnosys. I was expecting to walk through and be told 'yes, you have an eating disorder'. Instead, he said he's not big on putting labels on people, he'd rather just hear how I was feeling.

I find it helpful to me to think that I have an eating disorder - makes it more important for me to want to 'get better'.

When my OA sponsor once asked me how many times I weighed myself every day, I was a little startled by the answer. Seven, and with great regularity.

When I got up, after the gym, before I left for work, after I got home from work, after dinner, just before bed, and I can't even remember the seventh time. Probably when I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom.

Thanks for the reminder. I need to add this to My Story.
