We rented movies for the holiday weekend and this was one of them.  I was a little shocked that I could actually see something like this happening to our world.

Anyone interested in a slightly used "hover chair"?

You're so sweet Cport!  Unfortunately, you'll have to watch the movie to see what I'm talking about.  We like to rent movies so when we have the money and there are new movies out that's what we do.

Do you guys rent movies?

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing when I saw it. I think we definitely resemble them. Plus it has happened so quickly compared to how long humans have been around... if we keep going down hill this quickly we could definitely be like that!

Do you remember that guy that was around here that was saying we should just give in and embrace being fat? He would want to live in that world

Darn, now I am going to have to rent it. Yea, we rent movies all the time. The only bad part is that we don't get allot of selection here in town. So, who knows, if they have that one. I will check next time I stop there.

If it has anything to do with all the stuff that guy on here was saying, then I am not sure I want to watch it. It might tick me off, lol.

Haha, no I don't think it will piss you off because the message is how terrible that lifestyle is and how there is so much they miss out on. I think it would piss HIM off, haha.

At first the movie seems a little slow (as in not a lot of action), but then you realize how meaningful it is and what hit me was how possible it all seemed.  I figured you guys here on :cph: would have caught how the people had "evolved", if you had seen the movie.  My  8 yr old son really liked it, so I'm thinking of buying it.  It's worth it if he'll watch it over and over.

I wish I could watch it with you Cport, to see your reaction.  Just remember it is a children's movie.

Yea on the movie they made all the humans think that this was a great thing to do, not move, fly around on chair, never walk never exercise.  Everyone was soooo big it was really sad when they finally tried to do something, to go back to earth.
