Hi. (:
I do cardio 2x times daily at a half hour each session. I also do weightlifting and am fairly active throughout each day. I ride my bike, do the house chores and play with the dogs every day and I also play a competitive sport so I am normally busy 2x a week on practice at least. I normally eat around 1300 calories but I am also trying to lose weight, and I've been trying for a good while and I haven't seen much any results. Is this enough calories to consume to lose weight? I am 150 at 5'2 (more muscle than anything however, Ive played sports all my life) and I am looking to lose about 15 pounds at least. If anybody could tell me this I would really appreciate it.
Also how many calories should I burn if I start eating, say, 1500 calories a day to lose at least a pound a week?
Thanks!

I would suggest using the calculators on here, then if you still have questions then post again....

Here is the thing. I have done the calculators, and I know how much I am SUPPOSED to eat. But, it just does not work out that way.
According to SparkPeople, my range is 1400-1700. According to some computer software I have, it is 1200-1400.
Here is the thing though. I know my body, and my body does not react well when I reach the 1200 mark.
I generally try to aim for the 1000-1200 mark, though sometimes, I do get hungry and go over 1200. Anytime I go over 1200, no matter how much I work out, I gain weight. If I stay under 1200, I generally lose weight.
Now, I know that theoretically, if I increase my caloric intake, I may gain weight in the beginning, but my metabolism would increase, thus losing weight faster, so eventually it would all balance back out. But still, it is hard to take that step.

Well what is your age is maybe you could tell us that and we could give you a better answer. To me it sounds like you are not eating enough but I don't know since I don't your age

You could try upping your calories to maybe 1500-1700 for a couple of weeks. It's hard to say what will happen, because the numbers don't make any sense at the moment. You will have to experiment.
