Hey guys. I am a 305lb, 6 foot 2 male and i'm looking to lose weight. I've been looking around on the internet and it says eating around 2000calories a day.
I chose moderately active cause i do treadmill work twice a day @ 25minutes each totaling 50mins a day walking fast at 3.5.
Therefor i got a RMR of 3,825
Am i eating enough? A deficit of 1,825 sounds like alot lol.

Based on your stats, and based on the assumption that you are 19 (which matches your RMR), your unadjusted RMR is 2468. This is how many calories your body burns daily just to survive, such as by pumping blood throughout your body, etc. It is generally recommended that you eat at least this many calories per day. However, those who have a lot of weight to lose can probably get by with 75% of this number, which in your case is 1851 calories. If you can stick with 2000, that sounds like a good plan to me. Just make sure to take about one day a week to spike your calorie intake. This will help prevent your body from becoming adjusted.
3500 calories of fat = 1 pound. Over time, you will be able to see how much of a calorie deficit you are establishing, and can adjust your numbers accordingly.
Good luck!

Thanks alot for the info =D I have one more question if anyone can help. Now if im'm eating 2000 calories daily does it matter what it is? Carbs, fat protein w/e. Can I get away with eating anything really as long as its 5-6 times per day although im planning to make very healthy choices anyways.

What you eat is just as important as how much you eat.
I'll use one of my favorite examples - pickles. You could consume 400 pickle spears to reach 2,000 calories, and consume 80,000 milligrams of sodium in the process, which certainly is not healthy, since the daily limit is 2,400 milligrams.
It's important not to just watch calories - you need to watch everything. The nutrition info that is listed on food packaging is based on a 2,000 calorie diet, so you can use that as a guideline. Educate yourself about what food is healthy and what food is not so that you can make good choices.
You also need to make sure to eat a well-balanced diet, including fruits, veggies, whole grains, and good fats. Limit your intake of bad fats (saturated and especially trans) and simple carbs (sweets, soda, white bread, white pasta, etc.).
If you are just starting this regimen, do not go overboard! You will be most likely to stick with this long-term if you make gradual changes. For instance, if you eat a lot of fast food, work on eliminating that from your diet first. Then, if you drink soda, work on that, and then the next thing, etc. Stopping everything cold turkey might just make you lose your mind.

Yeah stick to around 1850- 2100 and you should be good. That will change when the pounds come off so adjust accordingly. Good luck on your journey
