So my boyfriend and I have decided that we really need to get on top of our weight. Our plan is to join a gym to work out at in the evenings, but I think food is really going to be our challenge.
Breakfasts and lunches are typically small for us, so coming up with a filling but low-fat, nutritious and TASTY dinner is difficult. So far, the only good ideas we have are fajitas and stirfry (both with either chicken or rabbit).
We both love pastas and Mexican food. He loves cooking, but we kind of need ideas to go on. Limitations are no curry, brussel sprouts or artichoke. Anything with peppers has to be mild to get my daughter (5 years old) to eat it. (My boyfriend also doesn't care for green salads...and he has some sort of allergy to fresh fruit).
In particular I'd like ideas for meals that can be made either in a slow cooker or in less than an hour (half hour is better).
