A friend who knows I want to get in shape just forwarded me an email for a free eBook of The Automatic Diet by the Diet Detective. I've never heard of him.

Anybody familiar with it? Sounds pretty practical.

I'm impressed with the freebie as far as it goes. You can buy the same book (hardcover or Kindle) on Amazon for between $6 and $7 and here you're definitely getting a free download of this 253-page eBook.
But I do not have time to do more than skim it. Emphasis is on calorie education rather than on re-education for a truly healthy lifestyle ( like http://tinyurl.com/EatRightFree ).
How about you read it and tell us how it went for you?

Yeah, I downloaded it.
It's pretty much a think about what you eat book. All the time, every bite. I think it might be a good kick in the #%@&! of a book. Lots of practical thinking. So far, I like it.
Now if I can just do it.

yep but in Amazon is not the same one....
And even that I think we should appreciate the writer's efforts.
Did anyone read the one by by Monica Reinagel?!

| She has a free preview chapter and it is good. And I've listened to all her Nutrition Diva podcasts (155 so far - very good)
