I want to be a dietitian first; but, I also love personal fitness and would love being a personal trainer, too.
I see the advantage, because the key to working out, losing weight, etc. is your diet.
Basically, I would provide a one-stop service where you get nutritional and fitness motivation.
Thoughts, comments, suggestions?
Would you prefer a personal trainer who also is a registered dietitian versus hiring two people, a personal trainer, -and- a dietitian? Or, even versus just hiring a personal trainer?
Is it worth the extra money?
Thanks in advance.

A lot of those people who hire a real-world PT at the gym require some 'nutritional counselling' (even if they do not know it yet - many people think they'll lose the weight simply by exercising).
As a result many PTs end up producing some basic information for their clients. Some of the information can be quite good (here are a couple of examples http://body-improvements.com/resources/eat/ and http://freeweightlossreport.co.nr/FreeWeightLossReport.pdf )
You might want to check out http://www.precisionnutrition.com/future-of-personal-training this company will teach you how to coach nutrition to your clients with its unique step-by-step approach that asks them to only change one thing at a time. Apparently the course comes with a comprehensive textbook.
