Hi, my name is Kolae Davenport, most people call me Kay because it is easier then Kolae to remember, say, or spell. I am 31 years old and a mother of one. As of this date I have lost 35 lbs 30 of it I lost in less than 6 months and I have gained 10lbs of muscle and lost 11lbs of fat through my long journey to be in shape and to stay healthy that started not quite two years ago. I have used a serious trial in error type of way to get to where I am at now. Using a series of high water, lower carbs (and I mean lower not low), 5 to 6 small calorie counted meals and only 15 minutes a day two times a weak at a gym I have gotten to this point. So, I would just like to say hello and I would like to get to know other people who have similar stories or who are struggling. I am still not quite where I want to be but I am getting there.

Congratulations on your achievement!
You must be seriously gifted when it comes to genetics to gain 10 pounds of pure lean body mass with only 30 minutes a week of training.
Myself, I do 4 hours a week of resistance training and have only gained half that. Consider yourself lucky

thank you. Actually surprisingly I don't think it is genetics its more I'm too stubborn and competitive with my husband to get left behind. 4 hours is quite excessive I've always felt for resistance training. My husband gained 25 lbs of pure muscle in one year as well by going through the same program as I did and he gained another 10 this year. We really only do 15 minutes a day twice a week. My husband is 6'3 and when I met him he weighed 160lbs and his goal is is to reach 220lbs and 7 percent body fat. I'm jealous because I reached 17 percent and he was at 6 this summer not fair lol. Diet is 90% and the lifting 10%.
