I need to lose 5-10 lbs for my job (bikini bartender). I know I am fine as is now, but I still feel "heavy" parading around in my bikini. I used to weight 10lbs less but ended up gaining after I got injured. I currently weigh 118lbs at 5'3'' and 23 yrs old. I am not saying I am going to starve but I will be on a strict diet and will exercise quite a bit to achieve my goal. Has anyone done this without resulting to diet pills or cleansing diets? And does it result in sagging skin? I lift weights and do lots of strength exercises 3 times a week.

Eh I really doubt you're going to have any issues with sagging skin, that only happens when people lose extreme amounts of weight in short periods of time.

You should first examine your diet and fluids you drink. You don't have to go nazi on everything you eat and cut out everything you like. You just have to moderate it better and do a little calorie counting.

The good thing for you is you only have to lose 5-10lbs. Drink lots of water, keep hitting the weights/exercise and the weight will come off.

Educate yourself while at the store, buy wheat bread, brown rice, wheat noodles. You should be on the look out for HIGH FRUCTOSE corn syrup in products(stay away from those) Changing from white bread, white rice to wheat bread/brown rice will make a big difference in the long run.

If you like to eat fastfood every now and then I would suggest to find alternatives and replace it with places like Subway.

Losing about 10 pounds for someone your size should take about 8 to 10 weeks.  To safely lose weight that you think you can keep off you need to lose it slow and have your body adjust.  I also noticed you said you do weight training a lot and if you going straight for weight loss you should try to increase cardio a lot because doing weight training can actually make you gain weight but it would be muscle and not fat.  Slow and steady is key!  Watch what you eat because every calorie you take in is another you'll have to burn off so keep withing your dialy needs and there's no way you won't lose the weight!  But be careful because you are already small so don't go too overboard.

It looks to me that at your age, height and weight, losing 5 lbs is not going to result in saggy skin in the slightest.

As has been said, you will not get saggy skin from losing such a small amount of weight.

However, as you are not overweight, losing that amount in two weeks is very unlikely, and even if you do manage it, it will be very difficult to keep off. A couple of months is much more achievable, and healthier for you too.

Also, try and focus more on toning your body that worrying about it being thinner. I know you need to lose the weight for a job, but bodies that are nicely toned tend to look much better than thinner bodies with no muscle tone to them.
